Support for gifted primary school pupils in the Kolín district

The diploma thesis deals with the system of support for gifted pupils in elementary schools with an emphasis on the 1st grade of elementary schools. The aim of the work is to help pedagogues to better understand this issue. The aim of the theoretical part of the work is to describe, based on the available knowledge from the professional literature, how the identification and support of gifted pupils should take place. The theoretical part characterizes the gifted student, defines the concept of giftedness, describes the basic models of giftedness, the typology and manifestations of gifted students, and describes the possibilities of working with gifted students. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the thesis analyzes individual legislative measures and school policy documents that describe the education of gifted pupils in the Czech Republic. The work characterizes the participating system of support for gifted students and their mutual cooperation. This bachelor thesis deals with topics of Possibilities of using canine therapy in school counseling facilities. The work describes the course of canine therapy, methods and forms, goals. This bachelor thesis includes the benefits and risks of canine therapy from the perspective of workers. This bachelor's thesis includes a SWOT analysis that maps strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the provision of canine therapy. Main focus of this bachelor thesis is on helping to provide services (type, form, goals, benefits, number of clients, aids, documentation management) within the activities of school counselors. A partial goal is the possible benefits, pros, cons and risks associated with the practice of canine therapy in school counseling services.
Child with developmental dysphasia in regular kindergarten

This thesis deals with children with impaired communication ability who are educated in regular kindergarden we use preschool also. The implementation of the research was selected as the research sample of 5 children with impaired communication abilities, specifically impaired developmental dysphasia. The theoretical part deals with the classification of impaired communication skills and the definition of developmental dysphasia. Comprehensively deals with the integration and education of children with ICA in regular kindergardens, preschool teacher quality and its role in the development of a child with ICA, focused on the development of children with developmental dysphasia. It also monitors the cooperation of kindergarden, parents and experts in the form of a speech therapist, workers SPC and PPC workers. The purpose of the research is based on interviews with parents, teachers, teacher assistants and direct short-term observation of the research sample in the form of 5 children with developmental dysphasia, who are educated in regular kindergarden to explore the learning process of a child with developmental dysphasia in regular kindergarden and map risks and benefits affecting his education.
Role of street-level bureaucracy in the process of implementation of inclusive education with a focus on school counseling staff

This diploma thesis concerns the topic of inclusive education in the Czech Republic with a focus on school counseling staff as the main representatives of street-level bureaucracy in the process of inclusive education. The general aim of this study is to examine the situation after the implementation of the Amendment No. 82/2015 Coll. of the Education Act from the point of view of school counseling staff. Moreover, the study also examines whether the current position of street-level bureaucracy in the inclusive education process is well-set and whether the current system settings meet the needs of the recipients of service. The objectives are fulfilled via qualitative research, particularly eight semi- structured interviews with school counseling staff and two semi-structured interviews with NGO representatives, and analysis of relevant public policy documents. Based on the qualitative research among these respondents, it concludes that the work concluded that there is scope for improvement in many ways in the current form of inclusive education in the Czech Republic, especially in staffing, financial support and mutual communication and cooperation among the actors involved.

Perspectives in education of pupils with a handicap.

The thesis is focused on mapping the current conditions of schools in the education of pupils with specific learning needs with regard to the conditions set by the state of this type of education. The work is divided into two parts-the theoretical and practical. The theoretical part provides an overview of the status of a student with special needs in school. Specifically, concepts such as diagnostics, re-education and problems in school these pupils. A substantial part of the work also discusses the possibilities of integrating these students into mainstream schools and the related demands and requirements of schools. These conditions are in the form of compensation and support measures enshrined in Decree 147/2011 Coll., The observance of which in practice is the subject of the practical part of the thesis.
